SFX 6 - Setting Default Volume Levels in SFX 6

RSS
SFX 6 allows the end user to set a default volume level. This default volume level is then used whenever a user creates a new Sound Cue. The feature allows the SFX user to set intial volume levels that will suite the needs of their production and their sound system. The Default Volume Level is also used whenever a user is hits the Home key while adjusting any volume level. So if you set your Default Volume Level to -20 db, any time you are adjusting volumes within SFX 6 you may simply press the Home key to instantly move a volume control to -20db.

To Set the Default Volume:

1. Click on the File Menu at the top of the main SFX 6 window and select System Properties.

(Note: Default Volume Levels are stored specific to the SFX Computer you are working on. They are not stored as part of your .sfx Production file. If you move your .sfx file from one computer to another computer, you may have to set the Default Volume Levels.)
