Adjust Default Wait Time:SFX 6 allows the end user to set a default wait time. This default Wait time is then used whenever a user creates a new Wait Cue. The feature allows the SFX user to set intial time value of a Wait Command to suit their needs. When the user creates a new Wait Cue, the time of that new Wait Cue will use this default setting until the user adjusts the Wait time on that cue.
To Set the Default Wait Time:
1. Click on the File Menu at the top of the main SFX 6 window and select System Properties.

2. In the System Properties Window navigate to the Preferences Section.

3. In the Preferences Section of the System Properties Window you will see a section labeled Defaults. The section allows you to assgin Default Volume Levels, Default Volume Change Times, Default Wait Times and Default Number Values when creating new cues. To set the Default Wait Time simply enter a value in seconds in the Default Wait Time box.

4. Click the OK button in the lower right hand corner of the System Properties Window. Now when you create any new Sound Cues the Default Volume setting will be used for all active bus send levels in those cues until you change the volume levels.
(Note: Default Volume Levels are stored specific to the SFX Computer you are working on. They are not stored as part of your .sfx Production file. If you move your .sfx file from one computer to another computer, you may have to set the Default Volume Levels.)
